Description:  There are roll-fed production ink jet printers, sheet-fed production printers; aqueous, UV-curable, and solid inks;  printers optimized to print on uncoated and coated offset stocks, resulting in systems optimized for book, transaction, direct mail, and commercial printing applications.   Additionally, heading into DRUPA, new product introductions are abound.   This session is a roadmap on how to navigate the production ink jet printer purchase decision process.

Description: In this end user keynote session, Jamie will discuss how Pii successfully implemented inkjet technology. He will talk about why Pii made the investment and how they re-positioned their business in the eyes of the customer to be viewed as more than a printer. Among other things he will discuss the impact on their operations, the sales process, the migration to more "agency" oriented services, and provide recommendations for peers that are starting the journey.
